Hi everyone!

I have a maybe theoretic issue:

Are there any known problems with the acceptance of the Global-QSL cards for various awards?

I've noticed some discussions about the acceptance of "normal", but computer printed and not "self signed" or by Manager varified QSL-cards. On the other hand, for example the ARRL is very concerned about verifying the identity of the LOTW-members, because the LOTW-entries are accepted for the DXCC.

Any other "electronic" QSLing (e.g. eQSL.cc) is not accepted by any issuer of an award. GlobalQSL is "some kind" of electronic QSLing. There is no varifying of the user identity. I can easily create an account for, let's say HF20POL, buy some cards and send a confirmation for South Sandwich Islands to me. Even within a "legal" account I can create cards for almost every callsign.

This could be a problem, if not yet, maybe in the future.

Hello Ricardo.
The cards printed with our service are fully accepted by the DXCC desk.
We talked with ARRL DC Manager Bill Moore, NC1L , and after explaining the way our system works, he said that our cards are fully accepted.
We are not a system that works electronically like EQSL. Our cards are real paper qsl cards and they arrive to the DXCC desk like other cards that are sent for check.
Also, there is no way somebody can alter the uploaded adif file , and only the user can make changes to a file uploaded.

eQSL confirmations are accepted by CQ-magazine.
They count for WAZ-award, if the eQSL-confirmation is issued by a AG-member (Authenticity Guaranteed, checked by the eQSL-organization).
So there is a verification of the user! There is no way to spoof a QSO as a AG-user, which makes the system waterproof.
There seems to be a general belief in the HAM-community about eQSL not being a true qsl. I think those people do not read and try to understand the rules of eQSL.

Creating spoofed&illegal physical cards is very easy with a printer at hand. Very often the card of a station is showed at qrz.com.

I still do not understand why eQSL's are refused for DXCC and physical cards are 100% accepted...

My 2 cents, this discussion has nothing to do with Globalqsl, so closed.

Hello Aart ,
yes I fully aggree with you about the service of eQSL , great service and AG is a proof of identification .
Good news on that :
on Feb 4th, 2010 , the German Amateur Radio Club DARC published the information that they will cooperate with eQSL for their awards that means eQSLs will be fully accepted in the future .

Beside that there is a long lists of organisations which accept eQSLs : http://www.eqsl.cc/qslcard/OrgBB.cfm
