Hello everybody,

concerning the interface between Logging Programmes like DX-Lab Suite I am investigating the
possibility of an API like EQSL so that users can directly upload QSO queues to GobalQSL. But
the logging programs have to implement such a feature, so ther is still some work to be done.

One problem is the "final check" of uploaded QSL data. What I can think of is a solution that
pusing a button in DX-Lab Suite transfers the QSO data vie Web interface to GobalQSL server,
including the verification data and opens a window with the "step2 procedure". The user has to
confirm if the uploaded data are correct.

Anyhow, we are working on sich a solution.

Yes, only countries that have no qsl bureau are rejected.
If you upload a qso for such a country and you forget to put a manager call in the qsl_via field, it will be rejected.
We are working by the official IARU publication about qsl-bureaus at http://www.iaru.org/iaruqsl.html
The only exceptions are FM,FG,FY and FH. These countries have no qsl bureau but the REF forwards the cards for them.

Invoking an "upload file" service is not much work.

>>>DXKeeper already provides this, as I described earlier. Its "QSL Queue" is a staging area where outgoing QSLs can be reviewed before printing cards, printing labels, uploading to LotW, uploading to eQSL, or uploading to a service like Global QSL.

Presumably the QSL Manager's callsign must be from a country with a QSL Bureau.

Suppose a user uploads a QSO for Callsign X with QSL_VIA containing Callsign Y. Further suppose that the country for Callsign Y does not operate a QSL bureau, but the country for callsign X does operate a QSL bureau. Is the QSO accepted?

Yes it is accepted.
If there is a qsl-bureau where we can send the card, it will go there.
You can check all options easy.
Insert a qso manually and check if it is accepted.
Then do not confirm it to print , just press the delete qso button.
